Click "Connect Salesforce" in your DataFlow-Xpert workspace. You'll be redirected to the Salesforce login page. After you approve, DataFlow-Xpert receives a scoped access token — no API keys or passwords stored.

Does DataFlow-Xpert support Salesforce sandbox environments?
Yes. You can connect any Salesforce environment — Production, Sandbox, or Developer Edition — using the same OAuth flow.
Will DataFlow-Xpert write anything to my Salesforce org?
Only if you enable bi-directional write-back. By default the connection is read-only. Write-back must be explicitly configured and only touches the specific fields you designate.
How does DataFlow-Xpert handle Salesforce API governor limits?
DataFlow-Xpert is built API-limit aware. It uses Bulk API 2.0 for large data sets (which has its own separate limit pool), monitors daily API consumption in real time, and automatically throttles if you approach 80% of your org's daily limit.
Does this work with Salesforce Professional Edition?
Yes, though the Streaming API (real-time CDC) requires Enterprise Edition or above. DataFlow-Xpert automatically falls back to scheduled polling (every 5 minutes) for Professional Edition orgs.
Are custom objects and custom fields supported?
